Trauma-Informed Therapy for Healing, Growth, and Emotional Balance
Support for those navigating trauma, postpartum, anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship challenges - offered in a safe, compassionate space both in-person and online.
You don’t need to be in crisis to start therapy.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself or others, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.
-
Here at Grey Haven Mental Health Counseling, we support:
Women with histories of trauma or PTSD
Adult children of alcoholics or addicts
Individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
Those struggling with relationship and attachment issues
Young adults and adults facing life transitions, burnout, or emotional overwhelm
If you’ve learned to “hold it together” on the outside while feeling unsettled inside, therapy can help.
-
Our work is grounded in a trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach, meaning we explore how past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns influence your present life at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.
We integrate evidence-based techniques from:
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and distress tolerance
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you move toward values-driven living
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to build awareness and reduce reactivity
Therapy at Grey Haven is not about “fixing” you. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply and creating tools that support lasting change.
-
Clients often come to therapy for support with:
Trauma and PTSD
Anxiety and high-functioning anxiety
Depression and mood instability
Relationship and attachment challenges
Emotional regulation and overwhelm
Burnout and stress
Healing from dysfunctional family dynamics
Postpartum and life-stage transitions
